A keen watercolour artist and photographer based in Wellington. I have been fortunate to be invited to exhibit my photographic work in New Zealand and internationally in Ireland as a finalist twice in the ESG Environmental Photographic Exhibition, in Bergerac, France and in Xiamen, China as a member of the Wellington Photographic Society. My photograph Yachting on Wellington Harbour is published in David Colquhouns Alexander Turnbull Library 2011 publication of Wellingtonians.

I am a recipient of the Gordon Harris Innovation in Watercolour Award for Rain over Somes Island at the 2015 Watercolour New Zealand Splash exhibition at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, Wellington, where I am a regular exhibitor. This painting was also a published work in Tui Motu Interislands November 2016. Other awards include a Merit Award for Cat on a Tin Roof and Best Watercolour Landscape Award at the 2017 Kapiti Artshow for Sunrise over Coromandel Sleeping Giant. This work also won the Peoples Popular Choice award at the 2017 Artists Watercolour Exhibition, Lower Hutt Odlins Gallery, Lower Hutt.

My passion for the environment and New Zealand outdoors created another interest for me. I love painting en plein air landscape and seascape painting where I can share my love of the outdoors through the watercolour medium. I paint what I feel and enjoy looking at and being part of this medium in the most satisfying way I can.
